In fear of feeling like I’m jumping the band wagon, I like this band. They have a very good….,I guess idea. The music is fast, heavy, melodic and grinding, at times. There are threedifferent vocal styles; a low growl, an 80’s metal type, and a hardcore style. I can’t stand the hardcore style. If it’s not Roger Miret, I don’t care for it. This album is really, really, good. Tracks 1, 3, 6 and 9, are really good songs. However, track 4, a song titled; “The First Noble Truth”, I have a problem with. Can you count how many In Flames riffs there are in that song? It’s almost like it could be “Artifacts of the Black Rain” (pt.2)! Didn’t they notice that? How can anyone miss it? It’s right there! Listen to the first minute and a half of “Artifacts..”, then listen to “First Noble Truth.” Still, give the rest of the album a chance. This band is trying to do something new, and I can totally respect that. Recommended.
