Soulskinner – “Breeding the Grotesque”
The feel is old-school death metal. I don’t know why, but I ended up liking this release more than I should. I think I was glad that a band is playing death metal without trying to sugarcoat it with out-of-place Iron Maiden melodies. Nothing too fancy, just brutality with some good tunes. Nothing great, but I liked it, anyway.
