Divine Regale – “Ocean Mind”
Divine Regale play what some people inaccurately call; pompous, egocentric, annoying metal of the Dream Theatre type. The voice is Dream T. like. Real singing, but I think that if you have the ear for it, you will hear a really talented bunch of guys who play complex-catchy music that one could call a modern version of the old Rush sound. Every song stands by itself. This band isn’t trying to prove they are metal, the music speaks for itself; clear, professional, musical, complex, progressive metal. These guys music can be appreciated, but you must expand beyond cheesy death metal, otherwise you’ll be in totally over your head. Yes, try this and listen well.
