Siebenburgen – “Delictum”
I’d never heard this band, nor had I heard of this band, until one fine day I opened my front door to find my little Mexican buddy standing on my porch with it in his hand. “Wanna review this one?” I looked at it, strange name, but there was a half naked chick on the front and back, so what the hell? I’m glad I did! There’s not one song on here I didn’t like. Ethereal black metal is what you have here. In the vein of Dissection, throw in a little 80’s metal, some female vocals, keyboards, and you have Siebenburgen. Out of the giant pile (and I mean PILE) of piss that Mikey gives me to review, this one definitely stands at the forefront. Excellent production and musicianship. It would truly be travesty if this band doesn’t get the recognition they deserve.
