Stab! Stab! Stab! – “Hell’s Coming With Me” (demo)
“With a name like Smuckers, it has to be good!” Or not. This recording seems to be some sort of death metal band who really aren’t happy unless they mix it up with some rock & roll grooves that sound Zeppelin-inspired (or something). They also have bits and pieces of other things, like techno dance beats, etc., and a sense of “humor.” Hardy har har. The lyrics are megalomaniacal: “My Murderous Throne.” If you have a throne, then you are king, right? Well, what are these guys kings of? 7 Eleven? Target? Subway sandwiches? Then there’s the song “Plaguebringer”: pretty powerful, huh? “Plaguewielder” would have been better. Wait, Darkthrone already did that. Basically, all the lyrics have to do with hatred for the ex-girlfriend.
Somebody needs a hug, huh? therapy? Maybe somebody is ugly.
