If you like melodic metal with some background electronics, you&#8217;ll be well advised to check this out. It is catchy and aggressive, like this type of band. This is not to compare, but just in case you want names, I will name names: In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy and Soilwork. There, does that help? This Danish band has gritty, chuggy riffing and not all the supposed Maiden harmonies. A lot of the melody comes from the vocals, too. The clean singing is way more upfront than Soilwork and more prog\/heavy\/power metal, too. Investigate further if Gothenburg means anything to you.
