They are sedulous about outdoing Soilwork’s “Natural Born Chaos”: the growling can get very low, guttural at times, then screechy at others, though it does stay gruff in general; the clean singing sounds expertly done, even to the point of sounding poppy; plenty of solos and thrash and shredding; the drumming is creative and varied, speedy and mid-paced (but no blasting). The cynical will correctly notice a formula at work; however, the strength is the genuine good songwriting abilities, the talent and how they bring together the components. This is their second one.
