I like to play Soilwork to the children in my neighborhood to see what they think. Here’s the feedback! Billy: “It’s too woud. Tuwn it off!” [Billy is cranky all the time.] Becky: “This is not as good as Sesame Stweet… Wendy: “This weminds me of In Fwames!…I like In Fwames!!…” Bobby: “What is this, Wauwicio?… It’s wevy bad music!…” OK, so they weren’t that helpful. I guess I have to say something here. This band has become masters at keeping fans happy. Everything on here is signature Soilwork: the songs do not throw you for any loops, just the Soilwork method of growl and sing, energy and melody, with a bit of that electronica in the background. And method it is because the melodies are catchy, almost poppy, and the harsher parts sound designed for the live setting. Of course, the fact they tour like a circus, only makes them even more aware of what works and what doesn’t. A good follow-up to “Figure Number Five”. On the other hand, if you feel that Soilwork has too much of a formula, then you’ll be whining again (Yeah, like the band cares what those people think.).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
